1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Fariji’s website, mobile app, WhatsApp services, or branch services, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to register or use Fariji services.
3. Nature of Services (Important)
Fariji Trust Shield is a welfare service provider, not an insurance company.
- We do not provide insurance policies
- We do not pay cash benefits or indemnities
- All benefits are provided in kind through funeral and related services
4. Member Obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Keep your details up to date
- Maintain confidentiality of your account access
Misrepresentation may result in suspension or denial of services.
5. Payments & Contributions
All fees and contributions are payable in advance via approved channels (e.g. M-Pesa).
No-Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable, including registration fees and monthly contributions, except where an overpayment has occurred.
No refunds are issued for:
- Change of mind
- Membership termination
- Non-usage
- Default or suspension
Approved overpayments will be refunded using the original payment method where possible.
6. Membership Status & Service Eligibility
Services are subject to:
- Active membership
- Up-to-date contributions
- Completion of applicable waiting periods
- Accurate beneficiary records
Failure to meet these conditions may result in service denial or delay.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Fariji platforms is owned by Fariji or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fariji shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of its services, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
9. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
Complaints may be submitted via:
- Email: info@fariji.org
- WhatsApp or phone
- Any Fariji branch
We aim to acknowledge complaints within 7 days.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and disputes fall under Kenyan courts.
